A revolution of sorts
Haiya! Still cant get a hang of this html coding crap. I have to write my title twice for it to be in the blog. Why do I want a title? Like my cuzin says " lau bcrita nada tajuk, mana sah cerita atu.." well, sumtin like dat, it was funnier when he sed it. heheh, it also meant, dont talk out of the blue like some crazed idiot. Talk with an introduction like some crazed idiot is okay. hahah
Anywayz, on to the daily going ons. As expected, ended up new yearing at my cuzs place. Haha, tot it was gonna sux. Well it did, but not as bad as i expected. It was kinda fun. Well, its almost the new year, I shud accept this as a kind gesture of my cuzin. His place is rad and he does treat me alot, so I shud be grateful. C the better side of the picture. Due to the bitter endings and going ons of 2006, like saddams excecution for instance, we didnt hav a huge celebration though. Funnily, His neighbour didnt hav the same view, they went all out with karaokeing and singing and jamming. hahah, a bad side of me wanted to join them. WE shud respect raya haji bla bla bla.
Got back at 2am i think. Otw back we saw this drunk (philipine?) people fighting on the side of the road. they were rolling around on the ground and this woman (girlfriend) was trying to seperate them. They're clothes were ripped and shit. She was screaming out to passing cars for help. I told my dad to stop, but my mom sed to drive on. I was angry we didnt help out. It was like a sign, on new year lagi tu to show yur goodwill. but I cant blame her, she was scared that we'll get hurt and involved with police and shit. And now that u think of it, how was i going to stop two large grown drunk men from fighting. Hahah, at the time, my instinct was to use an unbrella as a weapon. That would hav been funny. Well, I hope sumone else did stop. We saw a couple cars park at the side of the road. hopefully the people inside them were braver then we were.
You noe, I've been playing unlikely hero alot this past couple of weeks. On christmas eve I think, in the afternoon, an old guy's kijang broke down in the middle of the road at the front of my house. Me and my younger cousins went out to help. I had experience with car problems but it usually involved an automatic. Unluckily this involved a manual. Hahah, I was sitting in his car, trying to make his gear shift work (which later turned out to be stuck and broken). I was pulling at it like an idiot. Luckily, the guy from the car tire shop from across the street noticed us and helped out.
Another incident was on new years eve or the day before. me and older cousin (the new year eve one) were driving and cruising around bunut and kilanas(he was drving, aku blm blesen :P). We were finally about to call it a day and as we were about to go out from the old huaho (sebelah stesen minyak) to the main road, this lady with her car stopped at the entrance/exit. We tot she was a nut and was parking at the entrance. kami mgumpat lagi tu. But after a few minutes, we notice her delima and decided to go out to help her. Turned out her car died on her and cudnt start. I suggested to push the car into the parking lot since it was blocking the entrance/exit (all the people staring, i was kinda embaressed yet proud at the same time, heheh we were the only passerbys who helped out). I got in the car to take off the parking break, and it turned out to be a manual. Hahah, I was pulling the brek with all my might, I tot it was stuck. Rupanya mesti dtekan clutchnya atu. Ktara aku inda pernah drive manual ah. So I asked the lady to do it.
Funnily, we forgot the car was a on a small slope, so when she released the breaks the car went zooming backwards almost into the main road with all the traffic. hahha, the lady pulled the brek in time. So the next time, we got ready and gripped the car before releasing the break. It wasn't as easy as i tot. We pushed it like a few inches but due to the gravity of the slope, it was too heavy. We pulled the break again and pondered on wat to do. I saw this group of Indian dudes so I was like signaling them with my awesome sign language to come help us out. They stared straight through me and walked off. The bastards.
Finally, the lady's guy friend came and helped out. We open up the hood and checked the battery. There was these weird crystals building up on the anode and cathode thingies (hahah physics and chemistry people, used in real life!). I was like "dude, the battery fluid evaporated" and my cuzin was like "no, it crystaliseddd" . U shud hav seen us, we were like this two guys acting like we noe shyte but actually dont. The guy decided to use boiling water to melt the crystals. It worked and the car came to life for a brief second and died again. hahah, we were all bangang and poking at the car battery. Suddenly, my cuzin decided to point out this wire that was not connected. The guy was like, "andangnya tu" and we continued poking and proding. Then, after everything and nothing, we connected the wire and *PPOOOOF* the car liiiives. hahahh, my cuzin and I were looking at each other with surprise. We both cudnt believe it actually worked.
Hahah, as lame assed unlikely heroes, we still helped out and I think thats a good thing. It was the same with the old guy, if u help out, people will feel better and u make peoples lives easier. Even though its a little bit and no matter how lame or cluless u are, at least u tried. I really hope that filipino lady and the drunks are okay. My first resolution is to help out as many people as I can and be braver for their sakes. Its a new year, and cowardice and self conciousness shud not hold u back anymore. Thats my resolution which will hopefully bring out a new revolution. We really need a happier better world and we shud do our part to make it that way! This is d440, signing out!
